Tips for getting rid of Roundworm! 🤢

Well… our chickens have roundworm. We are deworming them and they are coming out in their poo and on their eggs. A couple of questions :
1. Can we eat the eggs?
2. Can us or the ducks get worms?
3. How should we get rid of them completely?
4. How long does it take to rid of them?

We have a mud puddle that fills when it rains. We saw some in there a few months ago, but they were gone the next day. If they get rid of them will they get it again from their environment?
