Tips on Rooster Management

We have a few roosters due to keeping different breeds. looking for suggestions on how others keep them happy and give the hens a rest. One guy I spoke to says he puts all his boys in a big pen for the summer and they are just fine as long as there are no girls.

Any insight here would be very helpful

I have heard of others using a bachelor pen for roosters during the 'off' season.
