Here are some pictures of my toads.

They are the perfect chicken. They come in two styles barred and white with a few colored feathers. They grow huge and fast but not quite as fast as CX's. I think I will be able to get them to dress out at around 12-15 pounds compared to the 11-12 my CX's average.

The following picture is not all toads, the white one in the rear is, and the barred one.
These are about 3 1/2 weeks.

A toad is the result of a cross between a CX rooster and Dixie rainbow hens. They are sweet and luvable, I have not eaten one yet but am looking forward to it.

That is really neat! Am I remembering correctly that Dixie rainbows are the same as freedom Rangers? Did you do anything special to get your Cornish cross to live to breeding age? How long do you think it will take to get them to that dressed weight? I so want to try this! You don't happen to want to sell eggs do you?
