Topic of the Week - Incubating eggs

I am planning on buying this incubator. Anyone have any experience with it? What do y’all think of it? Good or go with a different one? If a different one can you please recommend one with the same egg count or more?

Hmm, I have not heard of or tried ZFF egg incubators yet. I apologize. Based off the info I read it honestly seems kinda sketchy to me cause either way different bird eggs require different time frames until hatch

I will be hatching chickens and ducks next summer and hopefully more types of birds soon. I will be starting a hatching Business next summer. But still want to hatch for myself and the incubator I have now only fits a dozen eggs so I want a much bigger one.

No matter what incubator you choose, always plan ahead first. Duck eggs require a longer incubation period then chicken or quail eggs do so you would need to set those in the incubator a week or so beforehand.

For that much money, you are better off going with a tried and true brand like a Sportsman or a Dickey’s. I think Incubator Warehouse even has their own brand of cabinet incubator. To spend that much money on a stacking plastic incubator seems like a huge gamble to me.

Im plaining on hatching eggs this spring. I was wondering how to pick the right egg to put into the incubator. My husband wants use to try the one at tractor supply (the cheap one until we get good at it)
