town meat birds

What's the best, most quiet meat bird for inside city limits?

Are you saying you can't have roosters? I wouldn't expect birds gotten for meat to live very long. Because Cornish cross can be processed at 6 to8 weeks, many of them probably go before they ever crow.
With other breeds I've had crowing between 3 weeks (although it starts out sounding like strangled gargling) and 7 months.
