I started building a brooder today. It is 7 feet long, and 30" wide. The plan is to put in dividers so i can put different types of babies in them, or different ages separate. Right now i have quail eggs, guinea eggs and chicken eggs.
Thought i would post this for anyone interested.

The frame is done, i have actually done a little more than what shows in the picture. 20180427_173613.jpg
Its a little confusing because the work table is painted the same color as the brooder frame...
You can see the bottom is a basic rectangle, with hardware cloth stapled on. Four legs screwed on, the roof will be slanted.

Tonight i made the doors. Tomorrow i can staple wire on the doors and the areas below the doors. Then i will put the hinges and the latches on. Yay! Closing in on finishing it.

Sweet!
Where ya gonna put that?
Can't wait to see it finished and full of chicks!
Hi Aart, how are you?
Its going either near or in the barn. Hope to have chicks, keets, and quail babies to put in it soon. I need to take more bunnies out of the barn to make room, and the bunnies can go under my lean-to. Thanks for asking.
