Tula, Emporda, Normandy and other unusual breeds

Get some! Why are they not as popular as let's say as Indian runners?
We should really breed some hookbills or they will disappear.
Some colour varieties have already disappeared forever...
I know of no one around me who breeds them, there use to be someone on BYC who had them but I haven't seen them on in a long time.

I made a thread like this but about ducks.

I found a list with dozens of duck breeds, but don't know much about most of them. I would appreciate it if any of you decided to check it out and share your knowledge:

Back to geese...

Does anyone know where someone could go about finding steinbacher geese breeders in the United States?

Yeah, I have seen steinbacher farm before. They seem to be the only ones advertising.

I have seen plenty of steinbachers before, so I know there must be more breeders, but they are not online I suppose. I wonder if anyone on BYC has them?

I'm not sure I have seen anyone on here say they had Steinbacher.Maybe Steinbacher farm is the only breeder in the US.

I suppose its possible they are the only ones.

What is everyone's opinion on the Gray goose? Is it its own breed, a poor-quality toulouse, is it extinct or still around...? It seems like everyone has a different opinion.

There's actually a lot of breeds of geese which are grey:
Commercial farm yards French toulouse ( NOT british)
Pomeranian goose in Europe comes in pure white, pure grey and saddleback.
Then there are mixed breeds and many rare breeds from Germany, Poland and France for example.
