My Uncle has a turkey hen that is 3 months old. He has it as a pet. Since birth, he held the turkey and took care of it so it is very affectionate towards him. The turkey follows him everywhere and still cries when he is not present.

Usually the turkey walks behind or on the side of him, but lately it has been walking in front of him, stopping him and drooping and fluffing her feathers towards him making herself look bigger.

Is this an act of dominance or aggregation? She never pecks at humans though.

Your uncles hen need a tom. She wants to mate.

I only have seen this with turkey hens that imprint on humans because they were hand raised. Hens raised by other turkeys don't do it since they imprint on their kind.
Right now I have a Royal Palm hen that squats when I come near her. When she squats, I have to pick her up and take her where I keep the toms so she can mate.
