Undeveloped Eggs?

So are undeveloped eggs a common thing? Tonight after putting my pair up for the evening I was cleaning the yard of feathers & the carport of poop, when I saw this little tiny egg right beside some poop. My girl has never done this to my knowledge. Is this a thing? Or should I be worried? She has had a bad case of bumble & her foot had to be lanced Sunday- so she's been under the weather... but doing better now! Idk if that could have something to do with it or not? Because this has never happened before...it's weirded me out a little- to say the least.
