Unidentified 'frypan special' bird.

Most of the birds in my frypan special from Cackle Hatchery were easy to identify, but this one has me stumped. On first glance I thought he was one of the Barred Rocks, but he has a reddish face mask that makes me second guess. Any thoughts?

Is Cackle the one doing Olive eggers? If so, that could be what you have.

I'm new to chicks but to me it looks like you have a barred rock sebright mix. (please don't hold me to that) I had both and it has features of both. Like I said, I'm new so I'm probably wrong on the mix.

it will be barred as an adult. legs are not the right color for olive egger

I don't know of Cackle doing Olive Eggers. I haven't seen them on their site. Going over the birds they list, there aren't a ton of barred breeds to choose from. I'm starting to suspect he is a black sex link. That would explain looking a lot like a barred rock chick who is just a little 'off'.
