I have 2 French copper Marans that I've noticed have slight orange color on their wing area but the amount hasn't really changed its been like that for some weeks.
I thought that if it was male it would have more orange in the wing area than that. Both Marans already turned 5 months a day or two ago. I had to do a close up of the wing area otherwise it's hard to see. I have a female copper Maran (same age) and she doesn't have that slight orange copper in that area at all. So are they both boys and just late bloomers?
Also for my orange easter egger, I feel that it is more likely to be female/pullet? he/she also just reached 5 months.
