veggies

it's hard enough that i can't get my kids to veggies but now the chicks???? i have thrown all sorts of goodies in and they wont eat them..potatoe skins , carret peels, strawberry tops....they wont eat it? why???????????/

First, how old are the chicks ? Their main food should be chick starter with a few treats every now and then. If not on dirt, they need a little grit to go with the treats. Also, please don't feed them potato skins. They sometimes have toxins in them.

Instead of giving them a variety of stuff in at once, try one veggie at a time. I find that if it stays in the pen for a day, it eventually gets eaten. The next time I give them the same thing, it gets gobbled up fast.
