Vitamins and Electrolytes

When would you use this and what is the formula. It is an 8 oz dry package and says to use 1/2 package to 55 gallons of drinking water. Isn't there a formula for a cup of water? Only have two ducklings due in two days. Or is this not appropriate at all?

That is pretty concentrated stuff. It should be about 1/2 teaspoon per gallon. I tend to mix on 1/2 gallon at a time and keep the rest in the fridge. I give it daily for the fest week and then once per week until they are 10 weeks old. After that you can give it once per month, if you like. Most of the vitamin/electrolyte mixes also contain probiotics, and I hope yours does. Give your babies a food mash for the first few days. After 3 days I add a small cup with builders sand for them to eat as needed. It helps with their digestion.
