My husband and I became the proud parents of two ducklings last April. They had been rescued and our daughter-in-law knew I’d been wanting some ducks so she facilitated the transfer from the rescuer to us. After researching everything duck, I determined that we had two Rouen ducklings about 3 weeks old. We set to work enforcing an existing pen and house so that they would be safe once we were ready to let them stay outside. We’ve named them Dilly and Dally. They are both girls. We have a little Jack Russell terrier named Dash and he thinks he’s a duck as well! He swims with them and loves duck crumbles! We live on a lake and the ducks free range spending the majority of their time on the lake. They are very happy girls! My husband and I have 7 children and our 17th grandchild is due in two weeks! So hello to everyone!
