Water Usage.... CHIME IN!!!!!!!

We always had our own well until we moved to Missouri. I HATE paying for water.

We have had bills from $30. to $80. I have no idea why such a range. My last bill says:
usage: 8000
charges: $46.40

I have a well so I have no idea how much water we use. We pay about $8 a month for the electricity used on the well pump (its on its own meter). Having a well is nice.

Yeah, there is that downside. I'm looking at getting an inverter to at least hook up my backup generator to things like the well pump. We lost power for 4 days last Dec and the no water was a major issue. We had to use 5 gallon buckets and get water from our stream to flush the toilets.

We also have a private well.

And we use allot of water.

We have a really nice solar water pump. Not as good of pressure but I can flush when I want to if the power is out!
