We got our first EE eggie today!

Finally my babies are laying. We got EE'slike the first week in April and they were 3 days old. I just went out to shut the coop for the night and in the nest box I found these! Sure is nice and green huh

The white one is from my 3 year old that hasn't laid in a while. I believe she was molting.

Im so dang excited. I ran from the coop back to the house screaming with joy the whole way. DH thought I was getting chased by a fox LOL.

When my chickens began laying, I was so proud of them, you would think I did it myself. Lol

yeah...I have 3 that are 22 weeks....I pray they lay in the next few weeks and that winter doesn't cause them to wait...

would love to have the green eggs and ham theme in my kitchen!
