Tink and friends yesterday. She has the brown tipped wings in the middle of the bunch.
Tink turned out to be a bantam Salmon Faverolle....I thought none of the three eggs in the incubator hatched but, clearly my special needs hatchling was actually not a cochin afterall.
That may explain some of the size differences in the devleopment. But, I thought I'd post a pic of the happy crew out for some scratching time in the 45 degree sunshine. 4 weeks old and still feathering out so they spend most of their time in a large tupperware brooder in the basement.....getting pretty crowded in there so hoping for some more sunny days and moderate temps so they can be outdoors as much as possible doing chicken stuff.
