Hi all. Ive never raised silkies from chicks so Im not sure if this is normal. I noticed my splash silkies both have these bald spots on their backs. None of the others have this. They’re six weeks old and inside the house. I dont see any bugs on them or the others. Anyone know what may be causing this?

Did you check for mites or other parasites? Silkies are highly susceptible to them.🤔

I believe that the other chicks are feather pecking/plucking them. I'd separate them until they regrew feathers.
Thanks! I got them all (11) in one batch, the white and black ones are fine. I’ll split them up and see what happens. Thanks for the advice!
