Hi everyone, what do you think about this? I looks like the image of a sperm!!! What the heck! I poked a hole in the bottom and emptied the egg so I can save it. The funniest part is that this came from a carton of at the store and not from my chickens!

It apparently slipped through. Every once in a great while I will get a similar egg. Who ever layed it had a hiccup when the shell was being put around it.

Every once in a great while. Next time I get one like it I will take a picture. I get a lot of eggs every day.

A fart or wind egg, rooster egg in old wives tales.

I cracked an egg open for breakfast the other morning and found two yolks, one completely normal and the other hard, round and filled with blood. My chickens are all acting normal and I don't have any idea who laid the egg.

The strange yolk is the one on the spoon. I had to use a sharp knife to cut it open. The inside was filled with blood red gel.

To be honest, it really grossed me out and i couldn't eat breakfast after that.

Thank goodness I haven't seen another like it since.
