Weird!!

Found the weirdest thing today. An egg in our coop with no shell, but the membrane was very rough & completely intact. It's also normal size. It's so odd.... lol I am not worried about calcium or anything cuz my birds get oyster shell & layer feed & the eggs with shells have super hard shells. It is just kind of a freakish thing to find....

I had the same thing happen to one of my hens that was finishing her molt. She quit laying for a couple of months and she had several shell-less eggs before she started laying normally again.
