Did get allot done today and yesterday no rain or mud to slow me down.

Good Afternoon, Pond!
A bright, sunny day today. I spent some time in my greenhouse pulling weeds, getting ready to plant things. It’s still way too early to plant, but not to dream and plan. I’m also contemplating putting a small hugelculture plot in my big garden, just to see what it’s like. Weeding gets harder and harder every year. Mostly the getting up off the ground part…

On my way in, I had to take a picture of the big old beautiful majestic cottonwood tree at the end of the yard. With nothing else in the picture to give it perspective, I realize that a mere photo does not show the size of this tree. I just think it’s a beautiful tree. Sometimes we have Bald Eagles sitting in the branches during the spring and fall migration.

I have been planning in my garden
It gets to grow where the old coop was.
Rest is in tires but the gourds, tomato will go in the ground now.

Good Afternoon, Pond!

Warm, sunny and windy here on the prairie. Spent some time in the greenhouse working some good old barnyard compost into the soil. It was nice and warm in there. The heat felt good!

Went out did the tables in the coop messed with them a bit.
Have 2 more that have pipped.
