We've got peeping and pipping

Ya good job dcat. I intervened on my last chick, it pipped 24 hours ago and then half zipped, they say to intervene then. She was no longer moving. I pulled some shell off and put her back. Then an hour later pulled it all off. Now she's just in her membrane and sadly I can see her yolk sac. I covered her in a scrap of wet cloth and put her back in the incubator. She is breathing but likely wont survive. 30 fluffy babies in the brooder. I also just candled the 3 dead ones. They look very odd, huge air cells and no movement. I'll do an eggtopsy tomorrow

Thanks guys! The first time I intervened the out come came quickly and sadly, chick didn't make it. Right now I have two more zipping, one that is still just a pip and one that hasn't done anything yet. She was moving yesterday so I'm hoping she will pip overnight. I need to get some sleep at some point but right now I don't think it's going to happen.
