What’s your favorite breed? And in your opinion what’s the best?

Wow I love all the breeds! I have 4 jerseys giants 2 buff orpingtons 2 calico Cochins still babies and one frizzle Cochin also a baby! I would love to have all the breeds you have each chicken breed always has perks and I can’t wait to get more thanks for sharing!!!!

In general my favorite breed are the bantam! Naked neck, Cochins, Ameracaunas, mixed, you name it, if it a bantam variety I like it.

If I had to choose a standard breed I’d choose NN, Cornish cross, or probably then polish.

Best for beginners would probably be a Calico Princess. Only hen I've had that let's me pick her up and mess with her without trying to get away
Oooh please send pics I’ve never heard of that breed before!!! What are your other breeds that won’t let you hold them?

I will add, several are okay with back touches and grazes, just not actually being confined and held

My favorites have to be Australorps. Well-behaved, good layers, gentle and sociable, what's not to love? Plus, they're fluffy and look like cute little penguins when they hatch. Unfortunately, I don't currently have any. I used to have two Australorp cockerels, but we got rid of them recently.
I agree, the first chicken I ever met was an australorp, and she followed me around for 5 minutes. Pretty cool. I am holding her in my pfp.
