I was recently given a Rhode Island hen approx 2 yrs old who is acting strangely and has a very poopy bottom. She keeps squatting like she is trying to lay or poop. She is also doing this weird neck roll thing. She is thin, and seems to be a tad lethargic. She was with 5 other hens who all appear normal. One of the others has a bald bottom but is acting/eating/pooping all normal. I have separated this hen from my flock in case it is something communicable. I have washed her bottom in warm epsom salt water. Any ideas on what could be going on?
