I think he is a black copper maran but I am not sure

Could be a number of breeds/mixes - can you get a shot that shows his head so we can see his comb type, etc? What color is the bottom of his feet? Where did he come from (hatchery, home flock, your own hatch, etc)?

If he's got Marans blood, honestly he's not well colored at all. Way too much red across the back. Agree we need a better pic and more info.

I got him from an auction. It said I bought 4 jersey giants but this guy isn't. So I have no idea what actual breed he is.
