This is my wonderful rooster, Ricky. He is quite friendly and is very good to his hens if that helps with determining the breed. I can only guess that he might be over a year old, he was given to us last fall, already full grown. Thanks for your help.

Could possibly be a Rhode Island Red Roo/ I have an Americana Roo that looks almost exactly like this one.

Could possibly be a Rhode Island Red Roo/ I have an Americana Roo that looks almost exactly like this one.

I don't believe it's a RIR rooster as they don't have white feathers, usually have black with a green sheen.
