What can I feed a day-old chick?

I don't have any chick feed, what can I feed them? I wasn't expecting to have to keep them overnight, since I am selling them to a neighbor. They hatched today and while I know they probably won't be hungry right now, I would like to give them something just so I don't have any problems.

They can live off their absorbed yolks for up to 4 days, they should be fine overnight.

If using an all flock crumble for other birds, that will be fine. Scrambled eggs can also be used.

For my quail chicks, I threw some uncooked rice in a coffee blender. If you have any dried mealworms, you can add them too. Uncooked rice is just carbs and almost no protein but that shouldn't be a problem for a day. I haven't had problems with that in a pinch. Some grains I had that I haven't cooked that were high in protein also got blended.
