What Corn?

So I heard in order to help keep ducks warm during winter, you should give them corn. So, what corn? Regular field corn? Sweet, cracked, canned or frozen corn? It might be a silly question, but I'm a silly person. Lol, insight needed. BTW- I live in Iowa so temps can get pretty cold.

You can but don't "have to" i use whole corn around here for the big ducks, i toss a wee bit to my calls but generally don't bother giving it to them, i find their okay with out and my winter is pretty nasty too.
