What feed do you use? Anyone know of good online sites?

I have 4 coturnix quail that are approx 2 weeks old. I've been feeding them what the breeder gave me in a big bag, but I have been having a heck of a time finding feed for them locally. I was told they need game bird feed or other high protein feed, but I can only find 50lb bags of turkey feed locally at my feed stores. I can only imagine how long it would take me to go through 50lbs of feed with 4 just quail. What do you all feed? Does anyone know of any good online sites where I can buy smaller bags of feed?

good feed many gamebird people use...also if your near a Tractor Suppy Company they handle it also....and in smaller bags....for those with just a few birds...

You'd be surprised with how fast your feed with go with them eating it and wasting ALOT. Even though you only have 4, a 50 lb bag wont last too long. If you get that 5 lb bag of feed, you will have to be going back to the store to buy more every couple days.
Purina has good game bird feeds and so does Southern States.
