Just a second incubator you put eggs in on day 18?

Yup! Real handy if you get eggs at different times... you can stagger the hatches.... just pull out day 18 eggs and transfer to the hatcher.

Thank you! I have a broody on eggs slightly stagered. Two went broody. one stayed broody, and they are all under the one now. I think I'll sneak out the older ones day 18 and put them in a hatcher then

If you don't do staggered hatchings you don't need a hatcher, its just a second incubator that some use to transfer the eggs that are due to hatch over to so the rest of the staggered hatch can still have the correct humidity to grow and develop....
