What is the best roof for top of coop?

Doesn't metal roofing drip with condensation on cool mornings?
I suppose it would not if it were mounted on top of plywood.
Is that what people generally do?
 
Mine doesn't drip.. condensation happens when you have a cool surface and warm humid air - metal roofing, attached properly (to purlins, not plywood) doesn't have enough mass to maintain enough of a temperature difference. It is air temperature pretty much all the time.

I've never seen that. The only way I can see that happening is with poor ventilation and something inside putting a lot of water in the air.
 
Thanks for all of y'all's advice sorry it took so long to get back on here been vacationing & busy, i decided to use tin roof, i have it on my rabbits hutch and outside brooder & it works great, they have shade, & sun to, and i just finish there hen house!! Thanks again!! :)
