You promised me a mouse. I don't see a mouse. I don't hear a mouse. Be prepared to be my mouse.
Hey! If hold my head this way I can see!
Hey! You Talk'n Ta Me?You promised me a mouse. I don't see a mouse. I don't hear a mouse. Be prepared to be my mouse.
At the time my chickens could not see the eagle from their run that is on the other side of the garage. Even before the Eagles started nesting on my property, I know my chickens needed a run secure from bird of prey not to mention raccoons so they are in a big run covered with welded wire and pressure treated wood. I have heard two warnings so far for birds of prey. One is loud alarm call and the other is the high pitched "don't move" sound. I wouldn't want to see a Bald Eagle peering at me like this if I were a chicken.Unseen chickens: DIVE FOR COVER!!!!
Wow what a picture. BTW did you get to hear if your chickens sounded an alarm call? Have heard 3 different alarms for eagles depending if it is perched or flying or if the hens are about to step out of the pen door.
