For some reason I’m obsessed with hearing what people choose to name their dog(s) and the reason behind it!

This is Haven. She is a 1.4 year old Maltipoo! She is named after a certain place I love to be at, and I also just like how the name sounds and looks in general.

My Boston, Dorie, is named after Hurricane Dorian. She was born in Florida around the time the hurricane hit.

Cause Moony was taken.
Also it's different and fitting for a hillbilly farm dog.
But mostly so I can annoy him and anyone around singing his theme song....

My dogs are Sam, a pitty mix girl, and Murphy the beagle mix. Let the kids name him, Murphy is also our last name. I sound like a moron when I go to the vet…

This is Bella. She is a retired racing greyhound. Her race name was “Slender Slim”. She is a good girl. We have rescued greyhounds for over 20 years. They make great companions.

My dog's name is Sterling. He's a Husky/Lab mix. I don't know the reason behind his name as I wasn't the one who named him. He was given to me from someone in the family. Here's a picture of him:
