What is your favorite breed of dog?

I’ve had a lot of dogs in my life, all mixes.

My favorite dog was my collie mix who passed away a few years ago, but my favorite breed based on personality is my Boston terrier/Pitt mix. He is an amazing dog! Friendly, very smart, super cuddly & not agressive, yet he keeps everything unwanted out of our yard!

The Keeshond is a beautiful, friendly, amazing breed. I've had many and never a bad one in the bunch. They have quite a history in the Netherlands, and are at their best as companions.

One downside is their magnificent black, gray and silver coat that sheds onto everything. I once chose carpeting in my old house in a variegated combination of those colors so it wouldn't show the fur so much.

My favorite is the yellow lab, my childhood dog.

I would pick a good old Longdog mutt or a Lurcher over a purebred any day. I wish they were more popular here in the US. When we got our dogs I could not find any for adoption or from a breeder. I'm not currently looking since I already have three dogs, but if I ever came across one for sale I would definitely have four dogs.

My favorites are Golden Retrievers, Norfolk terriers, Norwich terriers, and Great Pyrenees.

As a breed beagles are my favorites followed by golden retrievers. My favorite all time dog was a rough coated German Shepherd named Rhon.

Mutts! I call her a Kansas City mutt since there are a ton of dogs about 40-50 lbs that look a lot alike in our area, lab-ish but no real discernable breed. I think when I adopted her, they said hound mix. She's fabulous and I love her.
