WHAT made this hole?

Probably started as a rat or possibly a chipmunk. That is how a lot of chicken predation starts. Rodents build up from leftover feed, feathers, and droppings (which have nutritional value) and then things that hunt rodents follow them to the chickens.

Oh, lol! Could it be a neighbors? I’m not 100% sure about it, but it just looked to me like a canine’s.

Neighbor has a dog but they keep it indoors or for walks.
It's very unlikely

Stick a garden hose down there as far as you can,
then back it off a tad and turn it on full blast.

I'm going with skunk. I had a similar hole before the chickens came along and it was a skunk. I found one on the inside of my yard today. Believe it was my dog trying to get something on the other side.

I've had a few skunks in my area and the holes have always been wider then deep and narrow like that. Almost look like a football sitting sideways. Could just be my skunks though.

Do you have a gamer camera you can put up? Most likely whatever it is, will be back.
