I feed layer crumbles mixed 50/50 with all-flock crumbles year-round with a side dish of oyster shells. In the winter, I daily ferment Kalmbach's Henhouse Reserve with some 6-grain scratch and a tablespoon of chia seeds per quart jar.
If a hen(s) is molting, I get out the bsf (black soldier flies) and everyone gets a few. I rarely hand those out any other time.
