I never shipped quail eggs, but since a dozen is supposed to weight around 4 ounces I would think a small box would be large enough. I think I will trade in my chickens for quail. LOL

I been thinking about that myself...LOL I've got a ton in the bator...but most are already sold.

lol Just keep 2 boys and 4 girls , so you have 2 trios and bam 4 eggs a day starting around 8 weeks and if you dont sale the eggs or chicks they produce you can eat the eggs and raise the quail for meat for the freezer . They are funny too

Cots do better with 3-4 hens per roo unless they have a LOT of space. The hens can get mean when the roos get too busy. They don't like being bald.

I have been thinking something like that but I have been told and read sevral times your sapose to have them in pairs but my pairs left the girls bald and one male ended up with a head wound when the hen went all postal on him , Im glad that you can have 3 or 4 hens that should even out the abuse a little unless they gang up on the male

bnewns-check out the USPS website. They are ONLY available online, but they are completely free to order. They definitely save a LOT of money. Often, post office employees have never heard of them either.
