whats best to cook tamales in?

I've made tamales often and as long as they get steamed well, nearly any setup that accomplishes that will do. I stack mine laying down but with a bit of space between each one, layered up to 4 layers. All of the setups I've seen in this thread should work. Stack however you think they will all get steam to them. I know people that stack them standing and they do fine, but so do mine.
 
I stand mine up and I use a large heavy stockpot with a steamer insert. Look on overstock.com for good ones. I have also used my pasta pot with the insert in it and it works well.
