whats going on and how can I treat it?

My mom felt them like I c id and she said its like a soft callus almost.

That sounds like my original suspicions and is probably bumblefoot or sore feet from being on wire too long. Keep up with the soft bedding, vaseline and clean areas and I think they will make a full recovery. It will take some time however, but eventually they should heal.

Just an update, the swelling has gone down quite a bit and the scales have gone down alot as well.

Great! I had a similar experience with my quail on wire. TwoCrows talked me through it and my quail are pretty happy now.
