What's your flock's favourite food/treat?

Hi everyone, just wondering what foods or treats your chickens absolutely love and go nuts nuts for? I want something I can give to my chickens after I've had to catch them and check them or clip their wings, as a little treat for them so the experience isn't too bad.

Mine go bonkers for live mealworms, crickets & beetles. They love being my gardening helpers & will chase eachother over grubs.

They go nuts for Hentastic oregano treats.

Also, watermelon, squash, tomatoes, grapes, blueberries, raisins, shredded cabbage or a fresh cabbage head hanging to peck at, corn on the cob, Cheerios, my Pigeon's seed feed mix or any bird seed. Cooked favs are oatmeal, spaghetti noodles, rice & a special corn bread I make just for them. ❤️

When we give them a treat…it’s their feed, watered down in a pan with a few seeds or bits of fruit scattered on top. They go crazy for this!!!! They like to eat scrambled eggs - I toss it all (eggs in shells) in a blender then microwave.

However…MEAT is devoured about 5x faster than any other treat. Toss them chopped up meat, or let them pick over a carcass of chicken or turkey. That is definitely a favorite of our egg laying omnivores.

My birds' favorite treat is anything they can steal from a flock-mate ... or the dog!

It's usually corn on the cob, but I've two broodies (mother and daughter) on the nest for over 3weeks, so after giving them the heave-ho I've been grating up roast beef for them and the corn is being left til last lol

I cleaned out their tractor and put nice, cool vinyl tiles down in the nest area to deter them. Fertile Pekin eggs are hard to come by locally or I would let them hatch a few.
