Black sunflower seeds! My girls go crazy when they see me bring in a small bowel in their run. they do also like cinnamon and cyan peppers oatmeal during the recent cold snap.

Hi everyone, just wondering what foods or treats your chickens absolutely love and go nuts nuts for? I want something I can give to my chickens after I've had to catch them and check them or clip their wings, as a little treat for them so the experience isn't too bad.

Blueberries, apples, mash made with their food, scrambled/boiled eggs, coconut oil, pretty much anything!

Our girls loooove watermelon above all other fruits. They also go crazy for bread/biscuits. I buy Cuban or French so I can feed them as a group or a few at a time. Lastly Tractor Supply sells a small can of mealworms and crickets that are oily. They love them. Haven’t tried (cooked) meat yet be will. Good luck
