I've just isolated this little chook and am hoping to find some answers about her sickness. She has very noisy breathing, one swollen and stuck eye and a small amount of yellow discharge from her nose. She's not eating, but drinking occasionally. Also quite listless when usually she is very cheeky!

Thanks. She just went down so quickly. I'm worried that it might go through the flock. It's that likely?
Possible but unsure. Chickens are kinda like fish. All for one and one for all. Most there isn't much you can do.

If it's bacterial, you may be able to get antibiotic. Think it's Tylan for bacterial but I'm tired and unsure. If it's viral you really can't do anything. It's 3 am for me. Tylan can be used for coryza and has limited effect on m.g. and can be used in chronic respiratory issues. but I am unsure what it is.

You can give electrolytes tho w/o causing too many issues

The other antibiotic you need a vet for I think but the vet is a personal decision

Does it smell? if yes my guess is coryza if not something else (Infectious Bronchitis. or M.G. etc)
