when do they start growing feathers?

Here are my new babies! I'm thinking they're a bit over 2 weeks? They're not quite as big as the one in the 3 week old picture.

I think you are spot on...they do look like they are just a tad behind mine, age-wise, but not allt hat far. Still have the fuzzy head and partially fuzzy wings. Not quite at that awkward teenage stage yet, but close!

They sure are cute though! Where did you get them from?

Thanks! I got them from a person who ordered them from a hatchery, so they should be pullets.

Thanks for the pics! I agree about looking like girls so far. I'm a tad worried about one of mine. The comb looks a bit wide, but I can't determine if it is a single comb or a pea comb. Also, its tail is a fluffy little ball like a bunny tail. From what I see in your pics, the first chick's comb looks wide like my chick's, so that is what I'm trying to compare.

My chicks are 2 days old and have small feathers on the end of their wings.
