When will they begin egg laying and crowing?

Ok.

last spring I got what 7 chicks I think.

They are about 5 to 6 months.

I have roosters and pullets.Pullets are not showng any signs of even getting ready to lay.and the roos are not crowing.(Possibly because a older rooster is there?)

Usually, it takes at least six months. Give or take.

What breed do you have? Some just take longer to mature. A dominant rooster can impact onset of crowing in young cockerels especially in a 'penned' situation.
