White crested duckling has small bump on head

I just found a small hard bump on my ducklings head. Its right in the center of its Pom Pom, so I didn't notice it at first. It's as big as a large pimple. It doesn't seem to bother her. I can't get a picture of it unless I cut the Pom Pom off.

You should do some research on crested ducks. they have a piece missing from their skull and a fatty tissue grows in and feathers grow out of the fatty tissue.

Thank you I had no idea, my friend got the duckling at a fair and couldn't care for it so gave it to me so I didn't have a chance to do research.
