Thanks for the fast responses. My other chickens were a year old when I got them so I have never had chicks/pullets before. I heard a loud squawk this morning coming from the coop. It's hard to describe but it wasn't the normal noise that comes from my hens when they are laying. I figured that maybe one of these are a roo, or perhaps a pullet getting ready to lay (but hasn't quite got the normal laying squawk down yet)?
Look like pullets that are going to start laying soon. Sometimes you'll get a bird that when she lays she sounds like she's crowing or dying (my Wyandotte does that .__.)
