White Spot

I have 2 Khaki Campbell ducklings (both the same age). One of them has developed a little white poof of hair on her head. Just wondering if that is normal, since the other doesn't have it. My wife and I are joking that she might be mixed with silkie chicken...LOL. Here's a few pictures of their post-swim grooming session to show the spot.

Is that a little crest? Others on here will know better than me, I am a newbie! Cute babies. I have KCs as well!

Yes. That's a crest. It's a genetic deformity where the scull isn't fully closed. That one is small so shouldn't cause any major issues..

Are there any differences between crested and non-crested Khaki Campbells? (such as size, egg production, etc)

No I don't believe that's any issue..
