Who’s the daddy 😂Bielfelder/Light Brahma gender?

I could be mistaken, perhaps someone can correct me, but I believe Bielefelder over Light Brahma should produce red sex linked chicks. Red females and white males. If so, your chick is a pullet.

It looked similar to a female bielfelder when it hatched (far right) and had chipmunk lines and line down the back (but also a yellow dot like the male bielfelders get )

So this chick ended up being a pullet not a male (oops I gave it away!!) andI think that means the dad was the Bielfelder but with Cuckoo Maran mama not the Brahma?

He definitely came from the barred hen
But there's a possiblity he shares gene from both males after all hen's do mate with more than one males

The new owner is saying pullet. Its 4.5 months old she sent a video but I can’t upload only screenshot

He's 100% a cockerel. Not only because he's got pointy saddle feathers, but also due the hen that produced him was barred, & the rooster was solid.

So no chance of bielfelder being the rooster? The colouring is so similar with the brown barring. Can they have two dads research online says no but seems odd that mix of the two roosters..

This bielfelder/EE offspring has been new to me and definitely learning a lot about barring genetics.

There'd be a very slim chance the Bielefelder was the father.
