A year ago one of my Call Ducks went broody and hatched out 6 little ducklings. Believe it or not, all six are drakes 
Imagine my worry and hesitation whenever I found that she's decided that she's going to sit again. She's been locked up with a different drake for 5 weeks now and to be honest, I'm not sure if he's realized that he's a drake yet (I made a post about him/her a while back). I've still not seen him attempting to mount either hen. But, that's another thing all together..... With all of that said, I'm wondering if it's the male or female that decides the sex of the offspring. Even if it's not the females that decide this, I know there's a chance that my drake might be a heavy drake thrower too (if he's throwing anything 
). So, I understand there are no definites here. Thank you for your time and any information you can share.
