Why bother keeping water clean?

Me too. It's pouring rain and they were out scratching around and drinking from the puddles! Then the hail started and they jumped and ran for the door!

I have a small bucket...about half the size of a 5gal that I use. It works great!! I couldn't wait until they got tall enough to start using it. The only thing that gets in it is a few feathers. We top it off with fresh water every day or two...depends on how hot and how much they are drinking or it's evaporating. Every few days I dump it out completely and wash it and refill fresh. Works great!! No dirty water like before with the waterers.
